Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and
discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where
difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality.
Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day,
every day. We can break the bias in our communities. We can break the bias in
our workplaces. We can break the bias in our schools, colleges and universities.
Together, we can all break the bias – on International Women’s Day (IWD) and
beyond.
Society has come a long way in realizing and recognizing the contributions of
women in building self, families, communities, institutions, enterprises, nations,
and the world at large. For International Women’s Day let us challenge ourselves,
our goals, and our limitations, when faced with inequality and bias.
A gender equal world is possible – and it begins with each and every one of us.
A gender equal society needs empowered women and girls who take control of
their lives, make their own decisions, and succeed in their chosen pursuits.
International Women’s Day (IWD) provides a key moment to celebrate women’s
achievements in the workplace and showcase employer initiatives and support.
As the biggest employee engagement day of the year, IWD sees organizations
amplify and reinforce their commitment to helping forge an inclusive world.
